Dr John Hampson

Veterinarian (BVBiol/BVSc)


John graduated from Vet School in 2011 from Charles Sturt University. He has always had an interest and passion for animals as he grew up on a small property in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. It is here that he started dealing with and learning about dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cows. 
Since then, he has worked in three veterinary clinics throughout Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland. They consisted of small and large animal work. 
After 9 years in practice, he made the decision to embark on a new journey by opening up his own veterinary clinic in 2019.

John has a deep passion for animal care and a commitment to making a space where pets and their families feel welcomed, supported and valued. John has a strong interest in small animal surgery, diagnosing and treating medical conditions and orthopaedic procedures.  
John has 6 Arabian horses, several brangus cross cows, chickens and a very spoilt kelpie called Gemma. 

Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and running. 

Additionally, John has been learning how to fly a plane in a Cessna and has almost completed his private pilot license. 


Dr Joanne Dullens

Veterinarian (BVSc)


Joanne is a local girl having spent her early years living in Pigabeen, Northern NSW. 

Joanne graduated in 2002 from the University of Queensland in Brisbane becoming an occupational therapist.

After ten years she decided it was time for a career change and returned to university to study Veterinary Science. Joanne graduated in 2018 from James Cook University in Townsville.

Jo loves all creatures great and small but has a particular soft spot for dogs and goats. 

Joanne loves the variety and challenges of everyday veterinary practice. She has a special interest in medicine and surgery and would love to explore animal acupuncture in the near future. 

Outside of work Jo loves spending time with her toddler Violet and her family and friends. Jo loves going for a paddle at the local beaches, travel and the occasional motorbike adventure. 


Veterinary Practice Manager (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )


Madeline started her career in Veterinary Nursing in 2010 and completed her Certificate lV in Veterinary Nursing at Brisbane North Institute of TAFE. 
Madeline enjoys all aspects of the job. She has a special interest in wildlife, anaesthesia and surgical nursing, client/patient relations and providing the best standard of care possible for your much loved pets. 
Madeline has two feline sisters, Kitty and Pippen. They enjoy napping and being cute. 

Outside of work, Madeline enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, travelling and playing guitar.

Madeline is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her baby girl into the world. 



Veterinary Nurse


Megan began her career in veterinary nursing in 2011 and has always had a passion for caring for animals. 
She has a special interest in surgery and patient monitoring.  
Megan is the proud owner of Theo, a lively 1-year-old Australian terrier x Jack Russell, Java, a sweet 13-year-old mini foxi x silky terrier, and Hudson, a 14-year-old Manx cat.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys soccer, running, snowboarding, gardening and most importantly, hanging out with the family.


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing)


Emily completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019. Emily has a special interest in animal behaviour and has always had a passion for working with animals- big and small. 

Emily has a chestnut thoroughbred horse named Evie and a bull arab X named Echo who she adopted as a puppy from the Dogfather Rescue. Emily enjoys spending time out in the paddocks and hopes to further her skills in surgical nursing and critical care.


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )


Fran started Veterinary Nursing in 2021 and completed her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing in 2022. 

She has a feline friend named Pebbles who is a 7-year-old domestic short hair that she adopted from the AWL QLD. Pebbles loves a good belly rub and holding hands when falling asleep. 

Frans' special interests in her career consist of assisting in surgery and aftercare, dental care, critical care nursing and animal behaviour. She also loves attending veterinary seminars and conferences. 

Outside of work, Fran loves outdoor sports, pilates, camping, baking and handcrafts. 


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )


Jaymee has always had a love for animals and is committed to providing exceptional care to patients and their owners. She has a special interest in surgical nursing and small animal dentistry. 

At home, she shares her life with Brax, a 13-year-old cavoodle known for his love of daytime naps and plenty of cuddles. 

Together with her husband, children and furry companion, they enjoy walks, park outings and beach adventures. 


Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing )


Tayla has had three years in the veterinary industry, recently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through the Kingscliff TAFE. 

As a veterinary nurse, she has a passion for surgical nursing and enjoys that each day brings new diverse challenges and opportunities for growth. 

She is the proud owner of Odie, a border collie x cattle dog. Tayla adopted Odie and, since then, he has shown his vibrant personality and brings endless joy and entertainment to her life, especially during their adventures to the beach. 

Outside of work, Tayla enjoys taking her dog Odie camping and discovering new places together. 



Trainee Veterinary Nurse


Phoebe has recently begun her career in veterinary nursing and is currently studying at Kingscliff TAFE. 

She loves all aspects of the job, especially the caring side. She loves meeting all the different animals and their owners that come into the clinic.  

Phoebe is the proud owner of Dexter, a four-year-old mini-fox terrier who has a very loving personality.

She also has two rabbits, Precious who is a mini lop rabbit and Midnight, who is a Rex-breeded rabbit. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and taking Dexter for long walks in the outdoors. 


Trainee Veterinary Nurse


Brittany is currently studying her Certificate 3 in Veterinary Nursing and is very passionate about her new career caring for animals. She has a special interest in the rehabilitation of animals, such as physiotherapy and the general care and wellbeing provided by a general vet clinic. 

Brittany has two cats: Chandler Bing, her oldest and naughtiest and Elliot Stabler her sweet rescue.

They are both domestic shorthairs that love snacks, belly rubs and cuddles.

In Brittany's free time she loves to read, drink tea, practice palates and take naps with her two cats.
